Esther Lola Watt, 74, of Crossett, died on November 18, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett.
Mrs. Watt was a native of Wilmot and a resident of Crossett for the past 40 years. She worked at Baker’s Pharmacy for a number of years and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church. She was a Chihuahua dog breeder and animal lover.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Johnny Watt; her parents, Calvin and Juanita Hughes Smith; two sisters, Peggy Bernice Lane and Georgianna Jernigan and a step-grandchild, Chance Watt.
She is survived by two brothers, Calvin T. Smith, Jr. of Maple Grove, Minnesota and David L. Smith of Citrus Heights, California; two step-daughters, Lisa Wheeler and husband, Mark, of Johnsville and Paula Johnson and husband, Bobby, of Colorado; six step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are will be held on November 23 at 10 a.m. at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Neal officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery.
Visitation will be November 22 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
