Eunice Marie King, 77, of McGehee, died on November 27, 2019.
She was was born on October 31, 1942, on Cypress Creek in Watson. She married Charles Ray King on August 12, 1960.
Mrs. King was hard working and self-employed for many years. She worked at King’s Service Station for 20 years and had King’s Furniture for about 10 years. Eunice and Charlie owned King’s Used Cars, operated through the service station, before moving to Highway 65 for 20 years.
She loved working outside planting trees, flowers, and shrubs. She was a faithful member of South McGehee Baptist Church of McGehee for more than 50 years and was actively involved in her church until her health would not permit it.
Mrs. King is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles R. King of McGehee; sons, Charles A. King of McGehee and Lynn (Darlene) King of Arkansas City; daughters, Felicia (Alex) Castillo of McGehee and Tracy (Billy) Bates of McGehee; sisters, Mary (Roy) Johnson of McGehee, Mary Frances (Bill) Spencer of Alexander, Barbara (Pat) Gillum of Arkadelphia, Phyllis (Delton) Kitchell of Bryant; brother J.D. (Sue) Dunnahoe of Rohwer; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. King was preceded in death of her parents, the late August and Verla Mae Dunnahoe of Watson, and her sister and brother-in-law Patsy (George) Falls of Greenbrier.
Graveside services will be held on November 29 at 2 p.m. at Flat Creek Cemetery in Fountain Hill, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home of McGehee.
