Farrell Kendrick, 74, of Star City, passed away April 1, 2021 at his home.

He was born April 5, 1946 in Russellville to the late Harrod and Gladys Martin Kendrick.

Farrell served in the Arkansas National Guard as staff sergeant for 17 years. He retired from Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office in 1993 and worked for Dumas Police Department as lieutenant before moving to Lincoln County. He also retired after 20 years from masonry construction.

Farrell loved the Lord very much and was a member of Overcoming Faith Worship Center in Star City. He was a devoted husband that loved his wife and family very much. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.

Also preceding him in death were his brother, Darrell Lee Kendrick.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jo Ann Curl Kendrick of Star City; son, Bobby Shane Kendrick of Star City; three stepsons, Jay (Camille) Harrison, Eric (Angela) Harrison, both of Bauxite and Matthew (Hannah) Harrison of Rison; one step-daughter, Kelly Jo Harrison of Star City; 14 grandchildren, Aaron Kendrick, Emily Farrer, Nathan Harrison, Leah Harrison, Anna Harrison, Daniel Harrison, Audrey Harrison, Ryan Harrison, Nickolas Harrison, Mason Harrison, Noah Harrison, Christian Harrison, Willow Harrison and Judah Harrison; and one great grandchild, Tatum Harrison.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Trinity Cemetery in Crigler with Bro. Don Borland officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
