Faye Pace Wiggam of the Green Hill community in Drew County, passed away on February 8, 2020. She was 92.
She was born on August 17, 1927 in Green Hill to the late Lonnie Pace and Susie Agne Wigley Pace.
Mrs. Wiggam was the widow of Donald M. Wiggam. She retired from Burlington Industries after 40 years of service and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. Her life was centered around her church. She loved gospel music and singing. She and her twin sister, Mae led the young people’s church group each Wednesday evening for many years.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Wiggam was preceded in death by five brothers, Woodrow Pace, Herman Pace, Rastus Pace, Homer Pace and Edward Pace; and one sister, Louise Barnes.
Survivors include, her twin sister, Mae Hobbs of Green Hill and Cleora Crook of Monticello; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Eugene Gifford.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at the Green Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Green Hill Baptist Church or the Green Hill Cemetery.
