Flood Warnings continue for areas along the Arkansas River, including Pendleton and Pine Bluff in Southeast Arkansas, according to the National Weather Service.
• Arkansas River at Pendleton affecting Desha, Lincoln and Arkansas counties. At 7:15 p.m. Saturday the stage was 36.4 feet. Record flooding is occurring and record flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 31 feet. Forecast: The river will remain near 36.4 through Sunday afternoon before a slow fall begins. An early estimate for going below flood stage at Pendleton is June 18 if dry weather and limited upstream impacts persist.
• Arkansas River at Pine Bluff affecting Jefferson and Lincoln counties. At 8 p.m. Saturday, the stage was 49 feet. Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 42 feet. Forecast: The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by Friday evening.
• Arkansas River at Little Rock affecting Pulaski County. [Falling]
• Arkansas River at Toad Suck Lock And Dam Tailwater affecting Faulkner and Perry counties. [Falling]
• Arkansas River at Morrilton affecting Conway and Perry counties. [Falling]
• Arkansas River at Dardanelle 1 NE affecting Pope and Yell counties. [Falling]
MISSISSIPPI RIVER
A Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River.
• Mississippi River near Arkansas City affecting Desha and Chicot counties. At 8 p.m. Saturday, the stage was at 42.9 feet. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 37 feet. Forecast: the river will continue rising to near 43 feet Monday, June 10.
• Mississippi River near Greenville affecting Chicot County. At 8 p.m. Saturday, the stage was 55.1 feet. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. Flood stage is 48 feet. Forecast: The river will continue rising to near 55.3 feet Tuesday, June 11.
