Floyd Eugene Myres, 86, of Warren, died July 7, 2014 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
Mr. Myres was a regional office manager and permit coordinator for Brown & Root, Inc. for 25 years before retiring in 1983. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He was born July 15, 1927 in Bradley County and was the son of the late Enoch Morgan Myres and Sallie Davidson Myres.
Also preceding him in death were three brothers, Leroy Myres, Leon Myres, Walter Myres; and three sisters, Marie Taylor, Minnie Bea Woodall and Mae Etta Halligan.
Survivors are his wife, Jo Anne Reaves Myres; a son, Phillip Myres and wife Paula of Little Rock; and three grandchildren, Jordan Myres, Kristen Myres and Landon Myres all of Little Rock.
Graveside services will be held July 10 at 2 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Warren with Rev. Greg Stanley officiating.Active pallbearers are Howard W. Woodall, Jerry Woodall, Frank Chancellor, Lee Stephens, Mark Bryant and Scott Richardson. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Wolfe, Jack Miller, Charles Nichols and David Ragar.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Warren or the Bradley County Veterans Museum.
