Two men and two women have been arrested for attempted murder in connection with the Friday night non-fatal stabbing of a Wilmar man. Bryant Loveless, 34, of Wilmar, was stabbed multiple times Friday night at a Hamburg residence, according to Ashley County forensics detective Guy Hughes.
Loveless, who was still hospitalized Tuesday afternoon, received stab wounds all over his body, Hughes said.
Police have arrested four people in connection with the stabbing:
• Jessica Rose Hartley, 22, of Hamburg, is being held on a $75,000 bond for second-degree attempted murder and felony fleeing;
• Gary Lee Johnson, 39, of Fordyce, is being held on $100,000 bond for second-degree attempted murder and possession of a defaced firearm;
• Frankie Lee Harris, 39, of Hamburg, is being held on $75,000 bond for second-degree attempted murder; and
• Cynthia Amanda Holloway, 27, of Hamburg, is being held on $75,000 bond for second-degree attempted murder.
As Bryant lies suffering from these very serious wounds, Jessica Hartley’s relatives are telling Bryant how much she loves him. Absolutely unbelievable.
I am praying for Bryant and his family. They are so dear to my heart and have always been so good to me. I pray that God heals all of Bryant’s wounds and that the people responsible are held accountable for such a vicious crime. So very sad that this is the kind of world we live in. I love you Loveless family! Keep fighting, Bryant!!!
