A Dumas man, a Monticello woman, a Warren man and a Wilmot woman were among Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s 78 appointments this week to state boards and commissions.
John Farmer, of Dumas, was appointed to the Arkansas Catfish Promotion Board. His appointment expires on June 30, 2017. He replaces William Troutt.
Carol Moore, of Monticello, was appointed to the State Board of Examiners of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors. Her appointment expires on September 14, 2019. She replaces Saima Chuhan.
Dwayne Tooke, of Warren, was appointed to the Residential Contractors Committee. His appointment expires on October 1, 2018. He replaces Billy Bunn.
Tena Carter, of Wilmot, was appointed to the Ouachita River Commission. Her appointment expires September 1, 2022. She replaces Robert Bridges.
