Frances Louise McNabb Jackson, 86 of Monticello, passed away June 11, 2014 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She was the widow of J. B. Jackson, a housewife and a member of Pauline Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackson’s hobbies included sewing, quilting, fishing and bird watching.
She was born August 8, 1927 in Bradley County and was the daughter of the late J. E. McNabb and Bea Clanton McNabb.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Frank McNabb.
Survivors include two sons, Ransy Bevel “B. J.” Jackson and wife Stephanie and James Revel Jackson and wife Vickie all of Monticello; one sister, Lynn McNabb Burton; four grandchildren, J. R. Jackson, Kristi Jackson McDaniel, Dabney Jackson Stell and Bert Jackson; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is June 15 from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Stephenson Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 5 p.m. following visitation. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery on Bradley 64 at Ingalls.
