Frances Norrell Corker, 77, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Hamburg died April 26, 2014 at Texas Regional Medical Center, Sunny Vale, Texas.

She was born May 10, 1936 at Hamburg and was the daughter of the late Oscar Norrell and Eunice Curry Norrell.

She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church.

Mrs. Corker was also preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Lee Corker; two sons, Carroll Corker and Norman Corker; two brothers, Oscar Norrell, Jr. (and wife Marcel) and William E. Norrell; two sisters, Doris Jenkins (and husband Arnold) and Geneva King (and husband Bill); and three grandchildren Robert A. (Little Bobby) Corker, Jr., Matthew Cody Corker and Shawnda Dawn Corker.

She is survived by two sons, Oscar Dewayne Corker, Sr. and wife Rhonda of Seagoville, Texas, and Robert Allen Corker and wife Karen of Searcy; a daughter, Frances Ann Frier and husband David of Mesquite, Texas; two sisters, LeFreda Johnson of Hamburg and Virginia Hearn of Crossett; 10 grandchildren, Oscar Dewayne Corker, Jr. and wife Kara, Joyce Elaine Kruse and Josh Cotton, and Lonnie Lee Corker, all of Seagoville, Texas, Carroll Wayne Corker, Catherine Ross and husband Jeremy all of Kemp, Texas, Hunter Corker and Haydn Corker, both of Searcy, Christopher Bryan Frier and wife Yuyi of San Angelo, Texas, Jennifer Magen Frier, and Molly Frances Frier and fiancé Justin Ray all of Mesquite, Texas; and 11 great grandchildren, Sergei Kruse, Nikolai Kruse, Daniel Dewayne Corker (Danny), Jayden Cotton, Madison Corker, Kelsey Corker, David Corker, Nora Ross, Orion Ross, Christopher Allen Lee Frier and Heath Lee Frier.

Graveside services will be held May 1 at 2 p.m. at Carlock Cemetery near Hamburg. Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on April 30 at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
