Frank Delay Hester, 78, of Lake Village, passed away at his home on July 4, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on February 1, 1939 in Greenville, Mississippi and was the son of the late William B. and Iva Dixon Hester.
Mr. Hester loved spending time outdoors, especially if he was hunting or fishing. He loved talking with people which made him a successful barber in Greenville, Mississippi for more than 50 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Hester and a brother, Billy Hester.
He is survived by three brothers, Wesley Hester and wife, Beverly, of Springdale, Robert Hester and wife, Kay, of Pine Bluff, and Bobby Hester and wife, Evelyn of Redfield; three sisters, Betty Jo Watson of Eudora, Sarah Ann Hester of Pine Bluff Jewel Poole and husband, Tom, of Greenbrier; and a host of friends who loved him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village. A memorial service will follow visitation at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend William Hawkins officiating.

The family of Frank Hester would like to thank all the wonderful, loving caregivers that worked tirelessly caring for him throughout his life and illness, especially the last hard few weeks of his battle.
