Fred C. Cunningham, 82, of Lake Village, died on September 22, 2018 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren.
He was a brick mason in South Arkansas for more than 50 years, a member of the Lake Village Music Jamboree in Lake Village and a member of Jennie Baptist Church. He served the Lord as a deacon for Jennie Baptist, Parkway Baptist, and Lake Village Baptist churches. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening.
Mr. Cunningham was born on September 6, 1936 in Lake Village and was the son of the late Dean Albert and Annie Victoria (Scucchi) Cunningham.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Frances Stough Cunningham; a brother, Robert Cunningham, and sister, Betty Cruce.
He is survived by three children, a son, Jason Wade Cunningham and wife, Joan, of Warren, a daughter, Laura Kay Klitzke and husband, John of Evergreen, Colorado, and a son, Mark Clifton Cunningham of Monticello; a sister, Gloria Lay of Dumas; a granddaughter, Jesse Laura Klitzke; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. until 11a.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the Jennie Cemetery, located at 182 Jennie Road in Lake Village. Bro. Brian Wetzler and Phillip Payne will officiate.
Active Pallbearers are Johnny Carver, Jeff Gibson, Jeff Harrison, John Klitzke, Michael Mills, Tommy Mills, Tony Mills Sr., and Wesley Stough. Honorary Pallbearers are James Anderson, John Burgess, Dennis Green, Alvie Lay, J.D. Scritchfield, James Scucchi, Jerry Scucchi, Thad Scucchi, and Sam Stough.
