The University of Arkansas at Monticello’s Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) will host a free workshop on government certification of businesses owned by women, minorities and veterans on April 18 from 10 a.m. until noon in the House Room of the John F. Gibson University Center on the UAM campus.
Mary Love, program associate for the Arkansas Procurement Technical Assistant Center, will be the featured speaker. Love routinely counsels clients concerning federal, state, and local government solicitations and contracts, and assists them with registrations and applications for various state and federal certifications. She individually, and at no cost, educates small businesses concerning all matters necessary for doing business with the various government entities, whether to help them understand the technicalities of a solicitation, a modification to an existing contract, or problems getting paid by the government.
To preregister for the workshop, contact Abbey Nowlen at 870.460.1266 or register online at: http://asbtdc.org/training/monticello-events/
