Gene Browning Sullivan, 80, passed away February 25, 2018 at Audrey’s Special House in Hamburg.
He was a retired United States Air Force master sergeant and was retired from the Pentagon. He was a member of the Cornerville Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Sullivan was born on October 15, 1937 in Boise, Idaho to the late Floyd Sullivan and Marie Browning Sullivan.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, El Roy Sullivan, Douglas Sullivan and Marshall Sullivan, Sr.; and his stepmother, Mamie Overton Sullivan, who raised him from a baby.
Survivors include one sister, who was a twin to him, Darlene Brown from Atlanta, Georgia; two special nieces and caregivers, Judy Sullivan Houston and Karen Webb both of Rock Springs; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, February 28, at 2 p.m. at Rock Springs Cemetery in Drew County.
