Geraldine King Capps, 80, of McGehee, died on February 24, 2015 at Little Rock.
She was born at Eudora and was the daughter of the late Cecil King, Sr. and Elmer Pevytoe King. She loved beautiful flowers, working in her garden, and her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Cecil King, Jr. and step-daughters, Rita Brown, Edna Klyder and Pat Horton.
Survivors include her sons, Carol Wayne Capps and Theodore Bland; daughters D.D. Burchfield and husband (Carlton DeWayne) of McGehee and Mary Edna Reese of Lavaca; a step-son Clarence William Capps, Jr. and wife (Nancy) of Sheridan; sisters, Mary Parker of Clinton and Berniece King of Little Rock; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation is February 26 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGhee. Funeral services will be held February 27 at 2 p.m at the funeral home with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will be at McGehee cemetery.
