Gerry Roger Sharp, 71, of Warren, died on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born March 8, 1946 in Warren and was the son of the late Clarence Sharp and Lena Belle Outlaw Sharp.

He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and following the Arkansas Razorback Basketball program.

Mr. Sharp was a banker for more than 40 years and worked at Warren Bank and Trust Company for many years before moving to Clinton, to work at Simmons Bank.

He served as a member of the Arkansas National Guard and the Army Reserve. He was a member of the Jaycees, Kiwanis Club, and Lions Club, and a member of the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival Committee for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Erva Norris Sharp of Warren; a son, Michael Sharp of Warren; a sister, Joy St. John of Warren; a granddaughter, Laci Elizabeth Sharp of Rye; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Earl and Mickey Norris; sisters-in-law, Ann Orleanski of Warren and Renee Richard and spouse Randy of West Monroe, Louisiana; brothers-in-law, Nick and Sherry Norris, Dallas, Texas and Steve Norris of Warren; and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, at Frazer‘s Funeral Home in Warren. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 at Frazer’s Funeral Home.
