Gladis Daugherty, 93, of Crossett passed away November 16, 2013 at Ashley County Medical Center.
She was born December 22, 1919 to Jesse and Ethel Slaughter.
Mrs. Daugherty was married to John Phillip Daugherty, on August 6, 1935. She was known as a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her two brothers Thomas Virgil and Curtis Burch, one sister, Hazle Hughling and one granddaughter.
She is survived by her children John Raymond Daugherty of Bastrop, Shelia Elizabeth Jones and Jerry Daugherty both of Crossett. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
