Gladys Ogden Scott, 90, of Monticello, passed away October 13, 2014 at her home.
She was a homemaker and member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Scott was born June 10, 1924 in Clarksville and was the daughter of the late Ebb Ogden and Thelma Strickland Ogden.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Scott; a son, Lee Scott; a daughter, Betty Rankin; a son-in-law, James Rankin; and a grandson, Jeffrey Siler.
Survivors include one son, Eugene Scott and wife Anne of Monticello; two daughters, Janice Sue Drago and husband Sam of Hammond, Louisiana and Jo Scott of Monticello; two sisters, Louise Cromer of San Diego, California and Jean Hall of Virginia Beach, Virginia; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held October 15 at 2 p.m. at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello. Burial will be at Beulah Cemetery on Beulah Road in Drew County.
