Glen Ray Bashaw, 84, of Monticello, passed away on April 11, 2018 at his home.
He was born January 12, 1934 in Malvern and was the son of the late Harmon and Nola Snow Bashaw.
He was a retired petroleum engineer for Baker Hughes INO and was of the Assembly of God faith
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kelly Ray Bashaw; and a sister, Jean Lemke.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Bobbie Wilson Bashaw of Monticello; two sons, Robert Glen Bashaw of Monticello and Royce Wayne Bashaw and wife Lynn of Ft. Smith; a daughter, Leasa Carol Bashaw of Monticello; a sister, Sue Bowers and husband Dwain of Monticello; five grandchildren, Jason Bashaw and wife Sara of Colt; Amber White and husband Harper of Warren; Ashley Courson of Monticello; Trevor Bashaw and Olivia Bashaw both of Manhatten, Kansas; three great-grandchildren, Casper, Piper and R.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13 at 3 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church. Committal service will be Saturday, April 14 at 2 p.m. at Hall Cemetery in Langley, Arkansas.
