Glendola Pinson, 94, of Johnsville, died on June 18, 2016 at Bradley County Medical Center.
She was a retired special education and home economics teacher at Hermitage where she taught for more than 40 years. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, a graduate of the Vick Public Schools and the University of Arkansas.
Born on January 11, 1922 in Bradley County, she was the daughter of the late George P. Cooper and Mable Ferrell Cooper.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Walter “Jimmy” Pinson and a brother, Lawrence Cooper.
Survivors are her daughter-in-law, Debbie Pinson Daugherty and spouse Eugene, Johnsville; two grandchildren, Shanda Hancock and husband Kevin of Johnsville amd Andrea Mann of Warren; five great-grandchildren, Reagan Boykin, Ethan Boykin, Gage Boykin, Aubrey Mann and Alyson Mann.
Graveside services will be held on June 20 at 10 a.m. at Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Felton Savage officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.
