Gloria Jean Grasper-Hubbard, 69, of Monticello, passed away on July 7, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She accepted Christ at an early age and received her formal education at Drew Elementary and High School. She worked for many years at Burlington Industry.
Mrs. Hubbard was born February 14, 1947 in Monticello and was the daughter of the late Mose Grasper and Pinky Lee Scott Grasper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Veance (Phil) Binns.
She is survived by her husband, John Hubbard of Monticello; three sons, LeVell (Debra) Handley, Gregory (Tikisha) Binns and Gerald Binns, all of Monticello; four daughters, Delores (Barry) Woodard of Wilmar, Shelia (Lenard) Shelton of Terry, Arkansas, Subrinna (Kelly) Coleman of Monticello and Bernester (Car) Dupree of Crossett; three sisters, Mozelle Grasper and Dorice Grasper both of Monticello, and Bridget (Keith) Ziegter of Deerfield, Ohio; one brother, Bryan (Monique) Edington of Monticello; one adopted granddaughter, Kabrescha Binns of Manchester, Missouri; twenty three grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and many other cousins and friends, and a very special niece, Latrina Grasper of Monticello.
Funeral services will e held on July 16 at 1 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation is July 15 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
