The Guachoya Cultural Art Center will host its annual Christmas Marketplace on November 14-15, featuring lots of arts and crafts to purchase, a wine and cheese party, a chicken and dumplings lunch, and Breakfast with Santa for children, along with entertainment by Ben Coulter and the Community Choir.
The marketplace will be open on Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. for shopping, lunch and entertainment by Ben Coulter. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The marketplace will reopen at 6 p.m. for a wine and cheese party, more shopping, entertainment by the Community Choir.
On Saturday, the marketplace will open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Breakfast with Santa for children is from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A photographer will be on hand to take pictures of the kids with Santa.
Vendor items include handmade clothing for children, quilts, plushes, t-shirts, baby items, handmade wooden objects, homemade candy, crochet hats and bags, wooden letters and plaques, photographs, scenic note cards, baked goods, jewelry, decorated wine bottles, wind chimes, hair bows, books, pottery, wool felted pins, Life CD’s, Thirty-one products and many others. An exhibit of 71 paintings by Nancy Abernathy and Kay Heller will be up during that time.
