Sheila Guy, a patient service technician at Drew Memorial Hospital, was selected as the hospital’s “Heath Hero” for the first quarter of 2016 for her positive attitude and kindness to patients.
Drew Memorial Hospital Chief Nursing Officer VonDa Moore presented the award at a hospital board meeting on March 2 when she read a letter from a patient lauding Guy for her positive attitude and kindness and saying Guy was the best part of her hospital experience.
“A smile goes a long way,” the patient wrote.
