Harbison Moffatt, 82, of Hamburg, died August 19, 2104 at his home.

He was a retired station operator for Mississippi River Transmission Company and was a member of the Eden Baptist Church.

Mr. Moffatt was born on April 22, 1932 at Milo and was the son of the late Elmer Wade Moffatt, Sr. and Druzie Evelyn Wolfe Moffatt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Carolyn Wherry Moffatt and a granddaughter, Julie Carol Moffatt.

Survivors are three sons, Frank Moffatt and John Moffatt, both of Hamburg, and Jim Moffatt of Crossett; two daughters, Sissy Moffatt of Denver, North Carolina and Margaret Ann Ward of Kingsland; and 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held August 22 at 10 a.m. at Eden Baptist Church. Burial with a flag presentation ceremony will be held at Pugh Cemetery with arrangements by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.

Visitation is August 21 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Eden Baptist Church.
