Hardie Edwin Howe, 93, passed away on September 16, 2021.
He was born on November 18, 1927 in Sondhiemer, Louisiana to Benjamin Franklin and Ola Mae Jester Howe.
Mr. Howe served in the United States Navy then worked as a machine operator in the paper industry until he retired. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and kidding around with others.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Howe; three sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his sister in law, Mary Jane Howe; four nephews, Clifton Howe (Helga), Donald Howe (Clara), George Cothran (Mary Ann) and John Howe (Samantha); three nieces, Helen Jackson, Pair Lee Murphy (David) and Mendy Frost along with other family members and friends.
Graveside services with U.S. Military Honor Guard presentation will be held Sunday, September 19, at 2 p.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery with Bro. Mike Griffith officiating. Pallbearers are John Howe, JC Ross, Sean McLemore and Delton Stover. Visitation will follow at the cemetery.
His care is entrusted to Jones Funeral Home, Inc. of Crossett.
