Harold Dean Bonnette, 80, of Crossett, passed away on April 17, 2016.
He was a U. S. Marine Veteran and a retired Railroad Engineer from AD&N. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Crossett Masonic Lodge #576. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching Razorback football. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Bonnette was born on August 24, 1935 in Montrose and was the son of the late Alvie Kenneth and Jessie Lobelia White Bonnette.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bonnette was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn and Jewel Bonnette; and a brother, Kenny Bonnette.
Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Ruth Toler Bonnette of Crossett; a son, Scotty Bonnette of Crossett; two daughters, Deanna Gilbert (Dana) of Hope and Tenetha Bonnette of Crossett; two brothers, Jimmy Bonnette of Monroe, Louisiana and Dan Bonnette of Hot Springs; four sisters, Ann Hare of Benton, Audrey Buckley of Florida, Vera Bonnette of Nebraska and Annette Bonnette of Ohio; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on April 20 at 2 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation is April 19 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the First Free Will Baptist Church.
