Harold Don “H.D.” Spainhouer, 76, of Watson, passed away on October 10, 2018 in Hot Springs.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dumas and a farmer for 51 years.

Mr. Spainhouer was born on April 29, 1942 at Watson to the late Robert Sylvester and Lina Mae Rana Spainhouer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Spainhouer; three brothers, Bobby, Jim Bill and Jap; and three sisters, Opal, Millie and Mary Jane.

Survivors are his loving wife of 55 years, Carolyn Rupe Spainhouer; a son, Shawn Spainhouer; two grandchildren, Alex and Zack Spainhouer; and a host of nieces, nephew and special friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Dumas. Rev. Dubs Byers and Rev. Billy Blackmon will officiate. Burial will be at the Watson Cemetery.
