Harold Hardy Griffis, 87, of Eudora, died on June 26, 2016, at West Carroll Memorial Care Center in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
He was a farmer and a member of Omega Baptist Church in Eudora.
Mr. Griffis was born on February 22, 1929 in Eudora to the late Hardy Alexander Griffis and Lucille Pankey Griffis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Green Griffis; a son, Eddie Griffis; and a sister, Faye Nell White.
Survivors are a son, Johnny Griffis of Eudora; three daughters, Marla Ainsworth and her husband, Jerry, of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Harolyn Keith of Lake Village, and Mickey Clark and her husband, Reagan, of Lake Village; a brother, Carroll Griffis, of Eudora; nine grandchildren, Josh, Stan, Mary Beth, Madison, Ashley, Alecia, Abby, Lindsey, and Aaron; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on June 28 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
Funeral services will be held on June 29 at 10 a.m. at Omega Baptist Church in Eudora. Bro. Travis White will officiate. Burial will be at Kilbourne Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
