Harvey Carroll Griffis, 87, of Eudora, died on December 17, 2016 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Mr. Griffis was a farmer and a member of Omega Baptist Church in Eudora.
He was born February 22, 1929 in Eudora and was the son of the late Hardy Alexander Griffis and Lucille Pankey Griffis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Aleane Hamilton Griffis; sister, Faye Nell White; twin brother, Harold Griffis; and a grandson, Jessie Ray Griffis.
Survivors are three sons, Billy Griffis of Eudora, Ronnie Griffis (Lettie) of Dayton, Texas, and Ray Griffis of Eudora; a daughter, Gail Anderson (Perry) of Marion; a brother-in-law, Travis White of Eudora, and 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20 from 5-7 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Omega Baptist Church in Eudora with Bro. Travis White officiating. Burial will be at Kilbourne Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
