Harvey Eugene Price, 75, of Star City, passed away at his home on May 29, 2018.
He was a member of Yorktown First Baptist Church, an Army National Guard veteran, a retired carpenter and a member of Price’s deer camp in Magnolia.
Mr. Price was born on April 21, 1943 in McGehee and was the son of the late Luther C. and Ruby Averett Price.
Also preceding him in death were the love of his life of 47 years, Aline Birchfield Price; three brothers, Edward Price of Woodlawn, Tennessee, Larry Price of Jonesboro and Ronnie Joe Price of Monticello; and a sister, Betty Price-Franks of Evening Shade.
Survivors include three sons, Monte (Linda) Price, Johnny Price and Chris (Kathrine) Price; daughter, Amelia (Terry) Harrison, all of Star City; four brothers, Carrol Price of Dover, Tennessee, Paul Price of Rison, Marvin Price and Luther Price, Jr., both of Star City; four sisters, Barbara Smith of Evening Shade, Linda Daugherty of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee, Gail Price of Star City and Faye Walker of Monticello; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Little Bit.
Visitation is Friday, June 1 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Yorktown First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the church with Bro. Robert Greene officiating. Burial will be at Palmyra Cemetery.
