Hattie M. Cooper, 92, of Crossett, passed away on August 10, 2016 at Stonegate Villa Health & Rehab.
She was a gemologist in Dallas, Texas for more than 15 years and worked at the First Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out for over 10 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cooper was born on May 24, 1924 at Milo and was the daughter of the late Mose and Sally Franks Bolin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cooper; three brothers, Haskell Bolin, M.Z. Bolin, Lewis Mitchell “Bill” Bolin; two sisters, Mary Bolin Fletcher, Quida Bolin Johnson and one grandson, Thomas Pounds.
Survivors include one son, John “Jackie” Cooper III of Conroe, Texas; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Lewis (Wes) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Jan Reneé Kennedy (Mike) of Crossett; one sister, Sally Bolin Murphy of Milo; six grandchildren, Timothy Pounds, Christopher Pounds, Dustin Floyd, Trace Cooper, David Cooper, Katie Cooper; two great-grandchildren, Isreal and Benjamin Pounds and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on August 12 at 11 at Jones Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on August 12 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel.
