Helen Phillips Weast, 87, of Star City, passed away March 6, 2020 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

She was born, January 3, 1933 in Keo to the late Aurther and Jewell Ward Phillips.

She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Star City and a retired seamstress for Levi’s Manufacturing. She enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Weast; a grandson, Chad Gaddis; three brothers, Raymond Phillips, Jeral Phillips, Danny Phillips; and a sister, Juanita Tipton.

Survivors include a son, Ricky Weast (Anita) of Star City; three daughters, Barbara Haynes (Michael) of Star City, Debbie Ayres (Tony) of Summerdale, Alabama and Shirley Gaddis of Star City; a brother, Larry Phillips (Michelle) of Plumerville; a sister, Louise Shepherd of Star City; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Bro. Don Borland will officiate. There will be no formal visitation.
