Jefferson County Judge Mike Holcomb won the Democratic nomination for the District 10 state House seat in a runoff Tuesday with a Dorothy Hall, a retired University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service executive director from Sheridan.
The complete, unofficial results were:
Holcomb – 1,649 – 53 percent
Hall – 1,469 – 47 percent
Holcomb carried Jefferson and Lincoln counties while Hall carried Cleveland, Drew and Grant counties.
Holcomb will face Republican Charles Roberts, of Rison, in the November general election. Roberts was unopposed in his bid for the Republican nomination.
