The University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture and Drew County Cooperative Extension Service will be conducting a Horse Owner Workshop on Tuesday, October 28. The event will be held at the Drew County Farm Bureau office at 656 Barkada Road in Monticello from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Jason Cater, Extension Veterinarian, will discuss deworming and immunization of horses. Extension Equine Specialist, Dr. Mark Russell will also be on the program to share his insights regarding hay evaluation and selection.   Educational content of the workshop will be geared for teenage youth and adults.
