The Arkansas Hospitality Association’s and the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 19 will present a free hospitality training class to promote tourism. The training class is part of the Arkansas Hospitality Association’s “Welcome to Arkansas” program which was created to arm frontline personnel with messages about their region and state so that they are equipped to encourage guests to spend more time and money in their area.
The class will be held in the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce meeting room in Monticello on Jan. 19 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. There is no fee to take the class and lunch will be provided by Simmons Bank.
