Huley Weast, 85, of Star City, died November 22, 2014 at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City.
He was born December 24, 1928 in Pottsville to the late Roy and Edna Satterfield Weast. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Star City and was a retired welder for Central Maloney.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Charles Weast and Dooley Weast.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene “Chubby” Weast; two sons, Donnie Weast and Ronnie Weast; five brothers, Irvin Weast, Kenneth Weast, Gene Weast, Roger Weast and Jerry Weast; a sister, Betty Lou Gates, all of Star City; four grandchildren, Brad Weast, Chris Weast, R.J. Weast and Joey Weast; two great-grandchildren, Anna Claire Weast and Anniston Weast.
Funeral services will be held on November 26 at 2 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Star City with Bros. Don Borland and Kenny Martin officiating. Visitation is November 25 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Burial at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brad Weast, Chris Weast, R.J. Weast, Joey Weast, Starsky Weast and Hutch Weast.
