Ida Mae Blakely, 69, of Hamburg, died July 8, 2014 at Cornerstone Hospital of West Monroe.
She was a homemaker and a member of Epistles of God Church of Deliverance where she served faithfully as a church mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. General Garfield Moseby; two sons, Dexter Gilliam and General Garfield Moseby, Jr.; two daughters, Brenda Gilliam and Rose Marie Moseby; her parents, Lumus and Queen Elizabeth Joe Blakely; two brothers, Dee Willie and Sylvester Blakely and one sister, Mary Cabiness.
She is survived by one son, Rev. Gregory Moseby of Hamburg; one daughter, Sandra Blakely Charley of Clarksville, Tenn.; five brothers: Lumus Blakely, Jr. and wife Dorothy of Montrose, Milton Blakely and wife, Jean of Crossett, Leon Blakely, Leroy Blakely and wife Mary, and L.B. Blakely and wife Louella, all of Chicago, Ill., five sisters, Betty Johnson and husband James, Robbie Lea and husband Jimmy of Malvern, Bessie Lott and husband Wes of Homet, Calif., Mildred McElroy and Linda Sutton and husband Eddie of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren, Channying and Chantrel Charley; one great-grandchild, Amani Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Funeral services will be held July 12 at 11 a.m. at Epistles of God Church of Deliverance with Pastor Mary Arnold, officiating. Pallbearers are Hollis McQuay, Lawrence Tucker, Michael Burns, Ephriam Johnson, Wayne Pugh and Thurman Morris. Honorary pallbearers are Bo and Gregory Johnson. Burial in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation is July 11 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home.
