James Elmer Anderson, 85, of Lake Village, passed away on April 16, 2020.
He was born in Luna, Arkansas on January 24, 1935 to the late James Elvis and Ella Rea Griffith Anderson.
Mr. Anderson worked for Standridge Flying Service for many years. He was an avid hunter and loved to play music. He was a member of the Wilmot Road Gang and a member of Bayou Mason Baptist Church in Lake Village.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Mae Lea Broach and Betty Shivey and his brother, Charles Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Anderson; daughters, Gloria Jean Anderson, Rita Lynn Peroni and Linda Jane Wetzler all of Lake Village; sisters, Helen Irene Fondron of Little Rock, Ruby Hicks of Searcy, Bertha Durham of Lake Village and Dorothy Fay DeLancey of Madison, Mississippi; a brother, Raymond Earl Anderson of Lake Village; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Bayou Mason Cemetery.
