James Franklin “Jim” Ashcraft

James Franklin “Jim” Ashcraft, 71, of Rogers passed away on August 6, 2020.

He was born on September 17, 1948 in Dermott to the late Horace and Faye Whatley Ashcraft.

Mr. Ashcraft was a 1966 graduate of McGehee High School where he played football. He was also a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and worked for Franklin Electric Company for many years before retiring. Mr. Ashcraft loved to hunt and fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Masters Ashcraft; three sons, Brent (Nicole) Stoufer of Prairie Grove, Jeff Dehn of Jacksonville, and John (Megan) Ashcraft of Overland Park, Kansas; grandchildren, Magen, Abygale, Haley, Elizabeth, Joshua, Jeffery James, Noah, Dylan and Claire; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12 from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the McGehee Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Starnes officiating.
