James Harvey Pigg

James Harvey Pigg, 82, of Rogers, formerly of Crossett, passed away on December 4, 2021.

He was born on August 20, 1939 in Portland, Oregon to George and Alma Pigg.

He was a graduate of Park Rose High School. He served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He and his wife, LaNell were former owners of LaNell’s Restaurant in Crossett.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Orville Stickle.

Survivors include his wife of fifty three years, LaNell Woods Pigg; one son, Chris Pigg of Bentonville; six nieces and nephews, Kerri Oliver, Angie Haynie, Heather Marabanian, Kasey Owens, Kristy Lockwood and Jimmy Woods; one brother-in-law, Larry Gowan; one sister-in-law, Sherry Cameron (Scott) of Crossett; and his great nieces and nephews who called him “Grandpa”.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, at 1 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Crossett with Bro. James Flemming officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Jeff Marabanian, Heath Marabanian, Jimmy Woods, Trey Owens, Scott Cameron and Stan Haynie. Honorary Pallbearers are Blake Lockwood and Larry Gowan. Interment will be at Pinewood Memorial Park.
