James “Jamie” Edward Kellum, 55, of Covington, Louisiana, formerly of Monticello, passed away on January 27, 2017 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center.

He was a forester with the US Fish and Wildlife Service. He enjoyed fishing, forestry, college football/baseball and was an avid Razorback fan.

He was born August 10, 1961 to the late Charles Edward Kellum and Patsy Ruth Barnett Kellum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Richard (Ricky) Kellum and son James Brandon Kellum.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryllyn Kellum of Covington, Louisiana, two sisters, Diane Smith of Hot Springs; Cherie Prince of Monticello; one son Michael Kellum of Conway; two daughters, Brandy May of Conway; Jessica McLarrin of Maumelle; nine grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel.
