James “Jim” Allan Klinkhammer, 83, of Star City, passed away on November 15, 2019 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

He was born on September 4, 1936 in Dolton, Illinois to the late Cornelius Neal and Carol Ehalers Klinkhammer. He was of the Methodist faith; a United States Air Force veteran; was retired from construction; a member of the VFW and American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Klinkhammer; stepson, Rodney, Spivey, Sr.; a brother, William Klinkhammer and a sister, Beverly Lau.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bava Klinkhammer of Star City; three sons, Mark Klinkhammer of Chicago, Illinois, James (Vanessa) Klinkhammer, Jr. of Star City and Terry Williams of Star City; three daughters, Debbie (Dave) Klinkhammer and Dawn Klinkhammer, all of Chicago, Illinois and Gabby Klinkhammer of Texas City, Texas; three stepsons, Rickey (Donna) Spivey of Beaumont, Texas, Randy Spivey of Texas City, Texas and Ronnie (Elizabeth) Spivey of Conroe, Texas; brother, Bruce Klinkhammer of Indiana; sister, Diane Green of Portage, Indiana; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 10 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation is Monday, November 18 from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. The family will be at the home of Frances Spivey, 3571 Garnett Road in Star City.
