James Lamar Ralph, 61, of Hamburg died Sunday, October 11, 2020, at his residence.
Jimbo was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1977 graduate of Hamburg High School. He worked at the Georgia-Pacific Tissue Mill for 22 years and owned and operated J & S Quick Lube. He was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church.
Jimbo was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved listening to all kinds of music.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison Ralph in 1999 and his grandparents, Bill and Velma Ralph.
He is survived by two daughters, Jeanie Ralph of Little Rock and Dora Ralph of Springdale; his mother, Ima Jean Cook Ralph of Hamburg; a sister, Rhonda Cook and husband, Brad, of Monroe, Louisiana and his very close friends, John Sanderlin, Steve Lister and Jimmy Horn.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 14 at 10 a.m. at the Beech Creek Cemetery with Bro. Mike Chain officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday at the cemetery from 9:45 a.m. until 10 a.m.
Honorary pallbearers are Brad Cook, Jimmy “Coon Dog” Horn, Rob Johnson, Russell Dale Maxwell, Wayne Gates, John Gee, Jack Edward Gee, Chris Kelley, John Sanderlin, Steve Lister, Waymond “Peppy” Lovett and Jimmy Don Gillum.
