James R. Wallace

James R. Wallace, 74, of Dumas, passed away on February 17, 2019 at Pine Bluff.

He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, retired in 2011 from University of Arkansas at Monticello-McGehee Campus where he served for 27 years as the technology director. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of American Legion Walter Hall Post # 84.

Mr. Wallace was born on July 2, 1944 in Little Rock and was the son of the late James Wilburn Wallace and Theo Flora Wallace.

Survivors are his wife, Pat Wallace of Dumas and two daughters, Andi (Gregg) Moore of Pine Bluff and Bethanie Wallace of Dumas.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 1 p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Julius Carter officiating. Burial will be at the Walnut Lake Cemetery.
