James Reynolds, 79, of Hamburg, died January 8, 2021 in Little Rock.
Mr. Reynolds was a native of Wilmar, raised in Hamburg and a former resident of Gloster, Mississippi for over 30 years. He moved back to Hamburg in 2002.
He was a 1959 graduate of Hamburg High School and a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Reynolds worked for Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Plywood Division, for over 30 years. He was a Baptist and loved the Lord. Mr. Reynolds enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his bicycle around Hamburg, waving and visiting with people.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Norma Lee Moran Reynolds in 2019; his mother, Nellie Johnson Gray and his father, Van Reynolds.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Reynolds and wife, Sara, of Laredo, Texas and Michael Reynolds and wife, Brandi, of Hamburg; a daughter, Phyllis Reynolds of Mesquite, Texas; a brother, Levi Gray and wife, Sandra, of Hamburg; three sisters, Sherry Dixon and husband, Loy, of Crossett, Betty Sue Massey of El Dorado and June Hayden and husband, Dale, of Junction City; four grandchildren, Kaden Reynolds, McKenzi Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds and Iliana Rodriguez and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held Saturday, January 16, at 10 a.m. 2021 at the Carlock Cemetery with Bro. Keith Rose officiating.
