James Roy Baugh, 83, of Monticello, went to be with his Lord and Savior January 6, 2022, at his home in Monticello.
He was born September 18, 1938, in Lincoln County to the late Roy Baugh and Eula Morgan Baugh. He was a retired farmer and member of First Baptist Church of Monticello.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Pat Clary Baugh; three sons, Layne (Lori) Baugh, Joey (Jennifer) Baugh and Phil (Kristi) Baugh; one daughter, Kris (Jonathan) Habashy; one brother, Harry (Rose) Baugh; one sister, Martha Caldwell; fifteen grandchildren, Zach (Caity) Baugh, Jonathan (Reed) Baugh, Hannah Baugh, Hope Baugh, Clary (Deanna) Baugh, Bethany (Toby) Holda, David (Cynthia) Baugh, Katie (Kristopher) Sibert, Abel (Hayley) Baugh, Mary Baugh, Morgan Baugh, Ashleigh (Chase) Williams, Jeb Habashy, Gareth Habashy and Ruthie Habashy; eleven great-grandchildren; and his caregiver, Allie Aguilar.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 10 at 1 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello. Visitation is Sunday, January 9 from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Leek-Drake Cemetery in Star City.
