James W. Fletcher, 65, of Perry, formerly of Crossett, passed away on November 21, 2016.
He was born on May 2, 1951 in Crossett and was the son of the late Abel and Josephine Estella Miles Fletcher.
Mr. Fletcher enjoyed gun-making, hunting, fishing and bee-keeping. He was a machinist and a member of the NRA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three infant siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Sims Fletcher of Perry; three daughters, Jamie Fletcher of Metairie, Louisiana, Julia Fletcher of West Hollywood, California, Rebecca Fletcher Acosta of Bastrop, Louisiana; two stepsons, Ricky Deblieux (Audra) of Orange, Alabama, Kevin Deblieux (Kim) of Bastrop, Louisiana and five grandchildren, Colton Deblieux, Alexus Deblieux, Camilla Deblieux, Mirabella Acosta and Meredith Acosta.
Visitation will be held on November 25 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on at Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on November 26 at 2 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, with Bro. John Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Simms Cemetery.
