Janie Carolyn Shelby Outlaw, 66, of Warren, formerly of Rison, died January 6, 2014 at Bradley County Medical Center.

She was a retired nursery worker at Bradley County Medical Center and a member of Southside Baptist Church at Warren.

Mrs. Outlaw was born February 28, 1947 at Rison and was the daughter of the late Walter Theron Shelby and Johnnie Lynn Shelby.

Also preceding her in death was a brother Rex Shelby and sisters, Alsia Helvey, Jimmie Greenway, Nora Jean Campbell.

Survivors are three sons, Jeff Outlaw, Alamosa, Colo., Joey Outlaw of Monticello, and Jonathan Outlaw of Hot Springs; one daughter, Jana Heflin of Rison; two brothers, W.T. Shelby of Sherman, Texas and Raymond Shelby of Kentucky; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held January 9 at 10 a.m. at Frazer’s Funeral Home at Warren with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Burial will be at Prosperity Cemetery at Pansy.
