Jarrett Matthew “Matt” Durham, 35, of Monticello, passed away on April 18, 2020 at his home.
He was born on November 12, 1984 in Dermott, to Perry Lee Reed and the late Kathy Durham Cain.
He was a HVAC technician and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Monticello. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. He also loved music, playing pool, working and eating out. However, his real passion was his God and spending time with his three children whom he loved very much.
Survivors include his wife, Peyton Crump Durham of Monticello; three children, Allison Durham, Elijah Durham and Isaiah Durham all of Monticello; his father, Perry Lee Reed of Monticello; his step-father, Bobby Ray Cain of Monticello; two sisters, Brandy Reed Tomboli of White Hall and Heidi Reed of Monticello; one brother, Brent Durham of Monticello; six nieces, four nephews, numerous cousins, aunts and uncles and a host of loved ones.
A private graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello. There will be a viewing beginning at noon on Monday, April 20, at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Due to CDC recommendations for gatherings and the spread of the coronavirus, no more than 10 people at a time will be allowed in the facility.
