Jason Robert Trout, 45, of North Little Rock, formerly of Star City, died on October 6, 2016.

He was born on September 26, 1971 in Pine Bluff and was the son of Robert O. and Wilma Burge Trout of Star City.

Mr. Trout was a graduate of Star City High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Star City and he was self-employed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Adam O. Trout of North Little Rock; two sisters, Kimberly Geyer (Alan) of Phoenix, Arizona and Robin K. Trout of Star City; nephew and nieces, Jared Geyer and Ana Rose Geyer of Phoenix, Arizona and Savannah K. Trout of Star City; an uncle, Ron Burge (Jeanetta) of Cave City; aunt, Renda Reynolds of Batesville; cousins, Valarie Johnson and Ronnie Burge of Cave City, Jonathan Reynolds of Okinawa, Japan, and Jamie Spellerberg of Mayflower. He is also survived by some chosen family, “aunt” Betty McBryde and “sister” Kay Fish, and many other family members and friends.

Memorial services will be held on October 10 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Star City with Bro. Dennis Dodson officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until funeral time.
